The CAST aluminium version of our conservation rooflight is no longer available. The product has been replaced with our Lumen range of conservation roof lights which are supplied with Pilkington Activ self clean glass, American oak internal liners and a choice of opening mechanisms.

Lumen rooflights are manufactured in the UK, are available in 12 standard sizes from stock or can be made to bespoke designs.

The Lumen Rooflight

The Lumen rooflight provides the fine lines of steel whilst incorporating a genuine glazing bar. Designed to sit flush with the roofline, the very low profile complies with the standards required by conservation officers, The National Trust and English Heritage.

The rooflight offers an exceptionally high specification of glazing that incorporates a 4mm toughened safety outer leaf with ‘Activ’ self-clean, a 16mm argon gas filled cavity and a 4mm inner leaf of Low E toughened. More… More

A genuine top hung rooflight cast with the fine detailing of a 19th Century original
using today’s advanced foundry techniques. Glazed with insulating glass units and coated with polyester powder paint, matt black as standard to "RAL 9005" and applied to EN ISO 9001.

The CAST Side-Hung/Escape Rooflight

The side hung/escape rooflight is the newest addition to the CAST rooflight range, offering the fine detailing oa a 19th Century original including the sculpted Tee bar.

As with all of the CAST rooflght range, the side hung/escape version comes with double glass units with a 6.4mm laminated inner pane and 4mm toughened outer pane, polyester powder paint finish (matt black as standard) and is weatherstrip sealed against draughts.More
