The side hung/escape rooflight is the newest
addition to the CAST rooflight range, offering the
fine detailing oa a 19th Century original
including the sculpted Tee bar.As with all of the
CAST rooflght range, the side hung/escape version
comes with double glass units with a 6.4mm
laminated inner pane and 4mm toughened outer pane,
polyester powder paint finish (matt black as
standard) and is weatherstrip sealed against
draughts.
Whilst
maintaining it low-profile design, the side
hung/escape rooflight offers a clear opening width
of 685mm and a clear opening length of 1030mm and
is in compliance with Building Regulations sizes
of 500mm x 850mm clear.
It has side located hinges
and 2 gas struts working with the winding handle
for ease of opening for both ventilation and
emergency
